Fred L. Lake & Co., Inc. is located in Dallas, Texas.  The founder, Fred L. Lake,  passed on a legacy of excellence and creativity that is very much alive in today’s operations.  Owned by the Lake family up through the late 1980’s, the company was purchased by its current owner, David Atwell, in 1992 with the goal of revitalizing the business.  Mr. Atwell was so impressed by the company’s incredible stamina and reputation, he opted to keep the name intact.  The Fred Lake Company and Mr. Atwell were honored by the Dallas Historical Society in 2002 with a “Cornerstone Company” designation.
